December 10 - 14, 2026

  • Zoom Online – $125.00
  • Commuter – $400.00
  • Single Bed · Shared Bath – $650.00

Chöd is a profound Vajrayana practice for cutting through ego-clinging, fear, and attachment. Through this practice, we learn to work directly with the obstacles and patterns that keep us bound in suffering, transforming them into the path of wisdom and compassion.

Chöd is especially associated with Machig Labdrön, the great 11th–12th century Tibetan yogini who founded and transmitted the Chöd lineage. Her teachings emphasize cutting through self-clinging at its root and bringing fear, difficulty, and attachment onto the path of awakening.

During this retreat, Khenpo Jigme will guide participants in Chöd practice through Jamgön Kongtrul’s Chöd sadhana, and offer teachings to support a deeper understanding of its meaning and purpose.

The reading transmission of the sadhana will be given on Friday, December 11th during our 1st session.
